Community Needs and Membership Surveys – Now Open

ECCAFV is conducting two separate surveys to guide the future of family violence response and coalition-building in Erie County. The Community Needs Survey is designed for service providers, community members, and those with lived experience. The Membership Survey invites feedback from current and past members—as well as anyone interested in shaping ECCAFV’s role in the region.

If one or both surveys apply to you, we welcome your input. Please complete by May 23, 2025.

If you experience any trouble accessing the surveys, we’ve got you covered—see tips below.

Community Needs Survey
If you work in—or have experience with—services related to family violence in Erie County we encourage you to take our 10 minute Community Needs Survey. Your input will help us identify gaps and build a stronger, more coordinated response.

Please share with your network—especially health and human service providers (nurses, doctors, counselors), school staff, community workers, law enforcement, and anyone with lived experience.

A quick share with just one or two contacts—or someone who can help spread the word—goes a long way in making sure voices from across the county are heard.

Membership Survey
We want to hear from you! ECCAFV is building our next five-year strategic plan, and your feedback will help shape our mission, member benefits, and role in the county. The Membership Survey takes about 10 minutes. You do not have to be a current or past member to share your ideas.

Tips for Accessing the Survey

Some organizations (like government or healthcare systems) block SurveyMonkey links due to firewall settings. If the survey doesn’t open:

  • Try forwarding the link to your personal email and opening it from your phone or home computer
  • Consider updating your browser if you’re using an older version
  • Or reach out to request a hard copy of either survey

Support for Survey Outreach

We’ve partnered with local consultants to help identify community needs and support ECCAFV’s strategic planning process. We hope you’ll complete the surveys and share them widely. If there are individuals or groups, you’re concerned might not see them—or may face barriers to participating—they are here to help. Reach out to:
